As per the Whole Way Around Tour plus race day at the International North West 200. Ireland’s largest outdoor sporting event, the first event’s organisers could not have imagined how the event would grow over the years. In 1964, the North West 200 event was handed over to the Coleraine & District Motor Club Ltd who continues to run the event today. https://www.northwest200.org/
We spend the Saturday, race day at the NW200’s. So we leave Donegal early Saturday morning and spend the whole day at the races. Racing tends to start mid morning weather/track permitting. On the day we would stay on the North coast road taking in the pits and the best of the racing. The only payment needed for the NW200 is for the programme and to enter the pits.
